So this week had its ups and downs. It wasnt like super awesome,
but we did have some cool stuff. our investigator just kinda fell off, we didnt
hear from him at all and so he is just kinda wash right now. The other day
though we had an awesome lesson with some guy that we founnd in Area Book. It
was the most interesting and fulfilling lesson that I have ever taught. We
talked about a lot of things, and i realized early that he was very smart, and
he needed something more than a very simple lesson, somthing to really tick his
brain and get the spirit working in him. Sometimes there are the people that
need that. So when i was teaching about the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, I
talked about his baptism and how important it was that he went to John the
Baptist, (authority) and we spent a little time, discussing that. We cleared up
all that and went on with the lesson. i didnt know why it was such a huge thing
that spirit wanted me to teach that. As we continued talking, we got to the bap
invite and i invited. That is why. He was trying to reason himself out of it,
but in fact, the way that he was thinking reasoned himself right into it. He
knew that he needed to accept, and the spirit was super storng telling him...and
then right before he said yes...ring ring. The phone went off, and he was out.
He answered it and started to talk and such. Its okay. next time he will
accept.
Other than that, we are doing well. we are just chugging forward with our
work. Doing all that we can. That is what the lord asks, and that is what I
have to give.
